Kaiser is a very good suggestion.I guess one of the reasons for the lack in the US political files is because we haven't done that much with that file,as I sort of expected it would be the easiest to complete...I'm not that sure now.

However when I have finished the last Latin American countries I will update the US file...and I have a ton of politicians and civil servants in the waiting...

After that I will move to Africa-Arabia-The Near East and the Far East.In Africa we will use quite a lot of sub US officers.(Liberia) can place some ministers there too (advisors)and after that Europe again

And this should btw give my friend Frodon ample time to go to the library,borrow their scanner and scan the last few missing Norwegians and Swedes....

Salvador

A group IV country which as so many of the Latin American countries has taken excellent care of their past.Closed the file with 23 new pics.(actually too many generals for Salvador but they had such nice sites...

Berzarin, Airforce or Army???

I've found in leader files of v1.05 that a Major General Berzarin of the SU has a leader trait of Offensive Doctrine but is listed as an airforce officer.
Bug?
A brief web search found a N.E. Berzarin, 1904-1945 commanding ground troops, (shock armies-not good duty) and rising to Col.-Gen.
The pic in the game is titled "Berzarin_me_sov.
Several typos???

And finally Uruguay has got it's csv with 58 pics (all pic file)moves from category IV to CLOSED.....YAHOO....

Do you actually realize what big a day this is,it means that one of the goals we set out for...that each country should have a csv has been accomplished...and the no. of the non playable nations are dwindling fast.I'm very very happy. Congratulations and thanks for all your enormous work.

Corrected now...why look for British in Canada,that file is getting better and better...look at the where are we now sticky... ...and I think RNG is one of the minor Caribbean states and they have nice beaches.....

We are still continuing the work...it can be better still...but thanks for the roses...

If you have the time Dibo and since I'm now about to move from Latin America east to Africa-Arabia and the East.I was kind of wondering if you have the time to find about 20 minor Russian officers (army not air) for lend and lease act.. to Tannu Tavu and Mongolia?

Besides that I was wondering if there by any chanche in that ol Romanian book of yours would be 2-3 "admirals" I guess that is all what that file lacks now.

Another great Day

no not because I have vacation... but because I have just finished and Closed Haiti,with 13 pics.....and by doing that we have moved another enormous step ahead.We now have a whole continent (Latin-,Centralamerica and the Caribbeans)which has all pic files and all playable pic files....

I actually think this will be popular,as I can see in the forum that a lot of players try out various Latin countries.

I will place the final 20 politicians in their respective countries tomorrow(no the politic side isn't all pic) it was just 20 I found on my route in America...

TRIVIA:we have now a composing general in the Venezuelan general Guitterez..not only has he his own site (with music on it)He was also COA in the year 35-37 in Venezuela(nice pic in uniform)He was also known as a BIG name in composing light classical music,and popular Venezulean music from that time...not bad actually...I think this is the first time I have ever come across a composing general...

And for a long time instead of promoting lesser colonels to generals I had to demote one..as the Haitian Chief of Navy had the rank of Grand Admiral....

A question...I have just gotten an idea.In the US there is/was a division which only had Afroamericans in it both as officers and personnel.That division must have a story with pics on the web...and I was kind of thinking sending those to Liberia as the American advisors...

So what was the name of that division,it was started as early as the Civil War.

Don't think the division was started as early as the civil war. Back then there were lot's of divisions in the so called US Colored Troops. But the US Army was restructured after the civil war, and the units weren't organized as divisions again before the Spanish-American war. However there were a lot of colored infantry and cavalry regiments, especially out west fighting the indians. The Spanish-American war isn't my cup of tea, but all black divisions were again raised during both ww1 and ww2...

There were probably several colored divisions during ww2. Remember one that fought on the italian front with somewhat mixed results. Think it was the 92 division...

EDIT: Some more info about colored troops: There were at least 2 all colored combat divisions, the 92nd and 92rd. Also the 24th Infantry Regiment and 761st Tank Battalion. Think both the 92nd and 93rd dated back to ww1.

Oh it was started during the Civil War.There is a not that popular movie made about that(very good movie)but since it is also truthfull and not politically correct it was not a success... The Key roles have Matthew Broderick and Denzel Washington with Morgan Freeman in a leading co role...so a strong cast---

Yep we have gen O'Davis in Liberia too as well as in the US file.It seems his son have already sneaked in the US file too(without my knowledge)this was discovered by one of our sharpeyed American friends (he is as for now known as Davis B.O.)that will be corrected.

Since the gov is mainly going to be of the ton of US civil servants I have pics of(from that time) I think we'd better keep Virgin there too...he can always act as an mediator....LOL.
