No comments... But do as you please, it's your version. I only wonder i someone will include it in the official patch. If so, Victoria will be the last Paradox game I ever bought.

Frodon said:Hmmm, don't think it's a good idea to include german gauleiters/reichkommisars in the fascist shadow governments. It looks a bit strange with a german gauleiter if Poland (or Norway, Netherlands etc) should turn fascist without being occupied by Germany...
Copper Nicus said:I'm puzzled by whole gauleiter thing too...

I beg your pardon? What countries historically elected gauleiter as their HoG?birch23 said:Ahhh,......Frodon back....could you please come up with some suggestions for PA light ministers after 45?
and the gauleiters is not in the shadow govs,it is in the election thing,It is a bit difficult to explain, but basically I put the exile gov as 1st.choice for the player, since an occupied country is always annexed by the AI and then the occupation(Quisling gov as second choice..again actually only for the player, because several tests has showed that (and it has been with spheres of influence) that it doesn't matter a damn for the outcome what gov type the AI choose.....this is purely for the player to have the option available in each country he would like to play...and
2) by making it all historically correct with coups and countercoups and changes in election it is immensely satisfying for the player that the AI chooses the right option all the time (although it still allows for some ahistorical things)
3) BVut you should all think of this as a way to make it more historical correct and at the same time give the player all the options he can want for his playing nation.
I'm not sure what you guys are expecting but the window for any afterthoughts and fixes for 1.06 is closing real soon now. And the picture pack isn't official: Johan has said that, if it includes more than pictures for existing minister/leaders, it is a mod.Halibutt said:I only wonder i someone will include it in the official patch.

Copper Nicus said:Sorry Birch23 (hehe), but I still don't understand... Player can choose as his legal government gauleiters nominated in Berlin and keep independence? Or even keep on fighting against Germany?![]()
Please, explain it a bit more.

Frodon said:PA lights for Norway? Or other countries as well??
Not easy to find Norwegian light PA's in 1945, but the best people to use are the leading members of "Fedrelandslaget " - a patriotic and anti-communist league originally founded by Fridtjof Nansen and Christian Michelsen among others.
Fedrelandslaget was declared illegal by the germans in 1940 after the pro-german chairman, Victor Mogens, became more and more critical of Quisling.
Candidates for a light PA governement:
Head of Government: Victor Mogens
Foreign Minister: Johan Bernard Hjort Interesting character. One of the founders of Nasjonal Samling, and later involved in resistance work. He became a leading lawyer in post-war Norway and could perhaps be used as security minister as well.
Armaments Minister: Joakim Lehmkul. Mussolini-inspired industrialist who was chairman of Fedrelandslaget before Mogens.
Intelligence: In lack of a better man, we could use Anders Lange. Resistance fighter with a background from Fedrelandslaget. There are some pictures of him here:
http://www.dagbladet.no/magasinet/2003/04/08/365941.html
Unfortunately they are from the early 70's when he founded "Fremskrittspartiet". Will see if I can find some pics of him from the 40's...
Army: Will have to wait with this untill after easter when the liberaries open. The man to use is General Fleischers second-in-command in Scotland. Can't remember his name, but he was from an upperclass family and was a former member of Nasjonal Samling.
Need to do some more research of Fedrelandslaget before I can come up with some more candidates as well. Guess we can use Tryggve Gran as chief of the air force...
Perhaps we can get in this guy as well:

Bertram Dybwad Brochmann - one of the really strange birds of Norwegian politics...
Not sure if I follow you. But why not just use a "home-bred" fascist instead of a german gauleiter?
Der Bismarck said:Is it possible to iinclude in an official patch a way to sort the leader files in a way that the traits are easily identifiable in the game? I think someone made a mod back about 1.02 that did this, but it was never picked up in offical patches.
Thanks
