In my current 1936 game as Germany I put the whole army at the start under the command of those leaders with "Logistics Wizard" to save supplies and fuel so that I could use the saved industrial power for other purposes.

I know that the manual that came with the game is partly obsolete, but I don´t know what is true about leaders with Logistics Wizard.

The manual stated that Field Marshals give their bonus not only to the divisions under their direct command, but also to all divisions in the same province - and half their bonus to divisions in the adjacent provinces.

I promoted Paulus and Rommel (both have Logistics Wizard) to Field Marshals so that they can grant their bonus traits to 12 divisions each - and then later for the attack on poland I placed a few divisions under the command of Manstein who can lead 9 divs. and has other leader advantages.

Theoretically all units, being in the same province as the Field Marshal with Logistics Wizard, should still use less supply and fuel. But as soon as some were under Mansteins lead supply usage became larger.

So Logistics Wizard seems to work only for the units under the direct command of a leader with that advantage - it does not extend to units in the same province if the leader is a field marshal.

Are the other leader advantages also broken in this point?

I am not completly sure ,but i think that only the field marshall supply leadership bonus is adjusted for the adjacent units they do not recieve the bonus of the field marshalls traites,eg commando, winter specialist etc.
It is always worth consulting the user made manual for more detailed answers than the printed game manual...
