Advisors have an age and annual chance of death that is easy to spot. Leaders should too ( they obviously have an age as they usually die in order they are hired ) .

This would help in deciding who to dismiss at the end of the war ( the old dude gets the boot )

This is something I've wanted for a long time, and I think is long overdue.

Also, Diplomats should die too and be replaced with a new person. Not really affecting gameplay, but just so you don't have the same guys for 300 years, you know?

All of my nation's diplomats have portraits of themselves locked away in the capital that get older and older while they stay young. I was pretty sure that was just how diplomacy worked, is that not normal?

Yes more idea on risk management and planning is always useful! although I'm not sure how the Diplomat/Merchant should work, whether a dead one would cease doing something like claiming or integrating and that you would have to start again or not, I think I would get very frustrated if a diplomat died near the end of a big intergration after losing some rediculous amount of MP.

I think that it should just send another diplomat to do it, rather than stopping it, unless you have no other diplomats available then it ends. Perhaps it can pause progress until the nest moth ticks, and you get a new diplomat to replace the dead one.

I have to say I don't always pay that much attention to what my diplomats are up to now, I usually let them tick away mindlessly and that suggestion still worries me there will be unnecessary micro involved or if you only had old diplomats not young ones you would find it difficult to do much without a bit of aggro

I meant it auto sends a new diplomat, rather than making you do it. Really not anything to disturb gameplay much, other than thinking which diplomat you want to send dependant on their age/

He just means a new name every now and then, I think.
