So yeah, launcher tries to download several mods that have already been deleted on Steam. I cant unsubscribe from them because they have already been deleted, I tried to delete launcher database (nor reaction, it still tries to download them), I tried to repair Stellalris, I tried everything short of completely reinstall - no matter, launcher is still stuck in infinite download limbo. Anything I can do to delete these mods from launcher?

something i could think of but its tedious work

re subscribe to them, let them be loaded
run game, activate all the mods and start a new random game for the mods to be loaded
then deactivate/unsubscribe them again and see what happens.

also, isnt there some config file the game would renew if your deleted the specific file?

im utterly sorry for my broken english, please dont hate me for it :3

Youre talking about the paradox thing that comes up before the game is actually loaded? If yes you could try to launch the game from its game directory as administrator. that skips the launcher for me.

Yes, this Paradox thing that launched before a game. And I can launch the game just fine, even with infinite downloads. But I can't download new mods because the launcher refuses to download new mods before it downloads deleted ones.

And this is bullshit in general. I deleted everything Stellaris-related, all the folders, these deleted mods don't even exist in my steam subscriptions but somehow launcher still remembers them and tries to download them! How?

Please try the following:

- unsubscribe from all mods in BOTH the Steam Workshop and the Paradox mod site mods.paradoxplaza.com
- delete the folder Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod/
- delete the file Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mods_registry.json (if present)
- delete the file Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/launcher-v2.sqlite (if present)
- run the game up and check the launcher is okay with no mod or other errors
- subscribe to a few mods

- run the game up and see if those mods are now available to you.

I hope that does it for you!
