Launcher starts Europa as Beta

Ok so I have a mod that will only work if i start Europa immediately. The only way to do this is by opening it through a separate launcher in my desktop that starts Europa before steam loads. It works fine, connects to steam, lets me play multiplayer, etc.

But now it starts Europa as beta since the 1.5.1 patch, meaning no multiplayer. And I have tried opening it from steam but it takes so DAMN long to turn on that the mod just makes the game crash because I've waited too long... Could also be that the mod doesn't really work if steam is fully turned on I don't know but somebody please help I have reinstalled everything including all of steam still NOTHING!

Go to the game in your game catalogue, right click, properties, then you should be able to deselect participating in the beta patches?

that was already set to "none", a friend suggested that earlier, so I am completely out of ideas for how to disable beta
I told my girlfriend to try launching europa too from the eu4_launcher.exe and she got the same thing too, it opened up beta. I'm sure it would do the same for you
