Since the 1.29 patch mid september, after pressing play on steam the launcher's icon bounces on the taskbar and then disappears with no error message or launcher window. I tried the workaround by clicking the dowser (not dowser.exe) file and the same thing happens, I also tried with eu4.app and the game does run without the launcher, but all dlc's are disabled, I looked for the load_dlc.json file in the Paradox/Europa_UniversalisIV folder to and it's not there. I tried creating one with nothing under disabled dlc's to try to enable dlc's at least with the workaround and it didn't work, then I erased the json file I created. I tried uninstalling and deleting all of the files to reinstall later, which didn't work either.

I'm trying to run the game on High Sierra, and it used to run perfectly before the new launcher. I read on a thread that different internet time could be the reason of the launcher failing, I already fixed the time to automatic and now it's perfectly paired so I tried to run the game after that and nothing has changed. I haven't played for half a month, please send help.
