The HoI3 launcher started to asked for credentials yesterday...says it's from paradoxplaza.com, and it also reports to paradoxplaza.com/on/demandware.servlet. What is going on here?

Damn. I entered my credentials. Nothing happens. It then asks for it again. Time to change my credentials
You know for future reference you may start the game and/or any mod by a batch file thus circumventing the need of the launcher.
It should look like this
hoi3_tfh.exe
or for example with the Blackice 10.2 mod
hoi3_tfh.exe -mod=mod/BlackICE 10.2.mod

Exact same thing here, too. I start from Steam. It didn't ask for credentials yesterday (Mon), but today, it does.
I just tried to start Victoria II, and the launcher does exactly the same thing.

Has anyone made an official inquiry or posted this in a more current and/or active forum than HOI3, like the Paradox General forum? It might be a while before a Paradox employee notices it here.
Paradox did something... I got some kind of login alert on the Paradoxplaza webpage (through Firefox), so I retried the Steam launcher. It seems to be working now.
Firefox put up a page when it couldn't connect to paradoxplaza securely. I had to login to Paradox again. It suggested either an expired security certificate on pp's end, or a system date/clock issue on mine. I haven't even checked the date on my end when the Steam-launched launcher worked.
But all seems copacetic for now.
