Launcher 2 installs every time I try to start the game then game quits

Every time I start the game, only the Paradox Launcher 2 installs again and again. After that everything just quits.

I tried everything like reinstall game and Launcher but nothing helps. I have this Problem with EU IV, Stellaris, HOI IV and Prison Architect, everything purchased at Steam.

EU IV, Stellaris and HOI IV I can start without the launcher ... but not Prision Architect.

What can I do? Thanks for any help.

Please try this:

- exit the Steam app completely
- uninstall Paradox Launcher v2 from the Windows "Apps and features" utility, if still present.

Delete the following folders if still present:
- C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Roaming/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/

- run steam.exe as the Windows Admin user
- run PA from the Steam PLAY button

thanks for your help! I tried that and I also deleted then is folder, too:

- C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Programs/Introversion

After that the launcher was installed again ... but then, hey, the game started!
