Hi, was wondering how will the launch be handled, midnight unlock or 10 am PST?

Well this is a Paradox published game we're talking about here so it'll be released 5pm on the 10th after a lengthy stream on twitch with a chat spammed by people demanding they press the button already and launch the game. All the while everyone that took the day off work will be disappointed because they didn't get it till the evening and could have just went to work and took the following day off instead. And for those of us on the other side of the world we'll get it on the Friday around 4am in the morning due to time zones.

Ya still depends, Stellaris launched at 1pm est, City Skylines was midnight if i remember well, so we will see 
Man I just assumed it would be around midnight in one of the North American timezones, but now you guys have me worried :/

rolling midnight is common with big studio titles, but pdox usually drops when steam just drops everything not a tent pole

According to that same Paradox employee GOG is pre-loading as well, which makes me VERY happy!!
Hehe im actually fine with that, get in early at work, install in right before lunch, spend 1 hour creating a character during lunch, get home early and play
So for EST, if I'm reading it correctly, that puts us Americans at 11am EST Thurs. That's pretty much when I wake up, so yup, a day off work is perfect.

Isn't EST Eastern Standard Time? That's three hours past PST which would make it 1 p.m.
Why 10th? I couldn't have a vacantion 11st NOV...I have trial to stand! ) I hope for good "evil" trials in this game.

I don't know where you guys are pulling these numbers, but I know PST is UTC-8, making release happen at 8am.
steam releases their games at 10 a.m. it will release at 10 a.m. so maybe you are wrong, or maybe paradox said the wrong time, but it's always 10 a.m. Pacific Standard time
