Latest Patches Have Munted the Resolution

Hey guys. I haven't played Stellaris for a few patches, played the day lights out of it then decided I'd take a break and play some other stuff while we get Heinlein and Kennedy.

Well, I go back to it, and its nearly unplayable due to the resolution resizing everything to the point it is literally uncomfortable to play.

I play on 1366 x 768.

For the record, I have attached a photo of how it used to look when it was good and playable, to how it now looks.
Additionally, I have also cycled through the games other resolutions and they're all worse. I also tried the UI scaling but it only goes lower than 1.0x which makes everything even more tiny.

Any advice to get it back to the old ways where I could actually play without squinting?

It's not clear to me what exactly you are saying is wrong with the resolution? Those two screenshots are so different I'm not sure what you want me to look at in them.

DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach your Documents/Paradox/Stellaris/settings.txt. From your Documents/Paradox/Stellaris/logs/ folder, attach system.log (rename to system.txt to attach).

I'm trying to say that the resolution is so small reading anything on screen is uncomfortable and makes the game unplayable. Both those pictures are of the exact same resolution settings, but the 1st one is pre Heinlein and the second one is current. As you can see even by just looking at the outliner to the right of the screen, it is now exponentially smaller. No resolution setting brings it back to a legible and comfortable size.

This makes no sense! You can't have the GUI larger than the screen. Not sure how it got like that ... !

Try changing that min_gui to something normal like 1280x720

And are any of those mods to do with the GUI or fonts? Does this happen with no mods in use?

Mate you're gorgeous, I did that and it fixed it right up.

I'm not sure how it got like that. I've never downloaded any mods that change anyGUI or fonts. It was fine prior to the last two major updates too so thats what I had assumed did it.
