Late Game WC Sue For Peace Freeze

So I'm finishing off a WC as Austria>HRE and experiencing freezing/hang ups when I use the Sue for Peace under each individual countries diplomatic tab. Selecting a peace deal from the war tab is fine. However trying to use the Sue for Peace diplomatic option for an individual country results in a 5-10 sec hang up/freeze.

Has anybody else encountered this?

10 seconds is nothing.
I sometimes have the game freeze for a full minute before opening the peacedeal.
Happens with right-click on the war icon and from the diplo menu.

Its not regular in any way. The size of the target country is not a deciding factor.
Ive had freezes even on small 15 province victims and it changes from war to war aswell.
Big blobbed Otto freezes 30 seconds one war and opens immediately in the next.
