Hello everyone, new here. Been getting in to Imperator, I love strategy games like this.

I'm also one of the players that like to stretch out my campaigns in Role-playing/strategy games like the total war series.

So today I started a campaign in "observer mode" went to work, 8 hours later i come back and the map is a lot different from the start l, the game is still running it got to the year 1209 AVC. Huge empires everywhere, fighting each other.

So here's the thing, I noticed the game clock still runs but then stops after a couple days for like maybe 2-3-4 seconds then continues 5-6 days then stops again and repeat.

I can still move my world camera around the map even when the clock is froze just fine, no stutter what so ever.

I know that paradox games have had late game lag issues like hoi4.

Imperator i believe they have upgraded the engine.

My conclusion is it's pretty much the game can't handle everything going on with all the AI fighting and such this late in the game. It still runs pretty good though but just a little annoying.

If anyone knows the what I'm talking about or knows any solutions please share.

I know this might sound stupid for some, you might be right. Perhaps it might help some.

I havent had any issues with the normal end date of 727 but i can see issues with us being able to go past it with pop/economy/army size rising for another 500 years.

Yes, I know, they added a continue option after the end day, which I like. I wanted to experiment. Whenever I start a campaign soon, I might not even reach that far in the date.

Just wanted to share this with you all.
