Late game lag

Hi,

I play this game for sometime and now when I have like a 75% of Europe in my possession I have a problem with game flow. I cannot do anything if I do not Pause the game. It is not even a lag, is stops whatsoever, so I cannot even move on the map itself.

I know it is CPU problem (as usage of it go really up, like 80-100%), but I do not know how to resolve it as my computer is not that old. I was looking in the Internet for resolution ot this but nothing seems to work
So now I am here, hoping that maybe somebody know answers to my problem.

When I play no other application/browsers/programs are on, I keep my temp files in check.
SSD drive 60GB on it is free space, 8GB RAM, Intel Core i5 6600K, Win10 64x

If you're on the 1400's and you started on the 800's, it's probably all those deceased (and live!) NPC data, including artifacts. I think that I've heard of a mod or something that clears your savefile from unlanded, unmarried deceased characters, but I cannot recall where.

Hi, unfortunately I'm in 1162 I have more than 1K holdings, more then 700 dynasty members alive at this moment. I wanted to conquer Europe but as it is now it would be hard to do

I will look for those mods. There will be a lot of data - big family is a happy family
