Late Administration in Conclave?

Has anyone else noticed that in the screenshots for Conclave there is now listed a "Late" Administration in addition to Feudal and Imperial ones? Has Paradox said anything about what that will entail?

I've seen it too, but I haven't seen official comments about it. However I've wondered about it too, perhaps it's something in between feudal and imperial to help to portray the late period in the game?

This makes the most sense. Feudal probably means you have to appoint your most powerful vassals as councillors, Late probably that you can appoint your councillors from among your vassals based on their merit, and Imperial that you can appoint anyone as a councillor, even a lowborn non-vassal.

Personally I think it's about how you call your vassals, or more speficially that in feudal you call them, while in late you raise their leavies.

Is it just me or should the Revoke Titles button order be - None, Religious, Allowed ?

Going from least to most make sense.

Allowed simply means you can revoke at all, you still take the relations and tyranny hit. Religious means you can do that and revoke titles from Heathens and Heretics with no Tyranny hit.

Dunno about the administration business, unless they are considering a parliament type thing - which mightn't be accurate outside of england, which had the most parliamenty parliament.

Haven't seen this screenshot before though, and I am curious about that status of women. Five tabs...five! Like am I correct in thinking there's only two states for women currently? Normal and "they're basically a man" ?

Wonder is matri-marriage tackled in this in some way.

Sorry, I'm deviating, I'd guess late admin is parliamentary in nature - as in the lesser nobles run the realm for the crown, rather than the crown dictating to the greater nobles, and hope that they enact the new rules.

You do raise a good point however, there does need to be a proper spectrum of early to late period in whatever they're planning.

France did have the Estates General, which was called several times over the course of the late Medieval period. It even had the power of the purse.

I'm pretty sure the estates general was just a really big advisory council, and without any real powers of its own. Hell even the english parliament in the earlier/mid period was still subject to a king who was largely autocratic - see the good/bad parliament if youre interested - but the french one had les power for sure
