Larger Event Pictures

Currently the largest pixel format for event picture, which can be used by style = 2 events is 400x116. I would like to ask development team, if it would be possible to add option or modify game to accept larger pictures (at least 400x190 pixels) ?

Yes, it's possible and is implemented in the next version.
I removed the fixed picture height restriction, so it should be possible to use any 400*xxx sized pictures (as long as the picture height can fit on the event panel).
I did the same with the newspaper header to allow headers of any height to be used.

Excellent news (as I´ve already about 80 event pictures of format 400x190 prepared for kaiserreich ).

Just to wait until next version is released.

Really sorry for reviving the thread, however there is an issue with the larger pics as we now can see in Kaiserreich. The larger pics are being covered by the text of the event making it difficult to both see the pic and read the event text. Is there a way to also adjust the space between the pic's edge and the text area ?

Honestly I am not sure what it's not working in this picture. It looks ok to me.
Anyway, without both the event and the picture it's impossible to judge.

I understand thatthere is something wrong with my version of DH maybe.
I see all larger event pics that way (Kaiserreich) too.

Are you sure you're using the 1.04 final EXE version and the not the beta/release-candidate?

Yes, this was the exact problem. I see the pics the way they should be and will start adding very soon.
I have to transfer Kaiserreich too ...

I would like to hijack this thread and ask, that are you replacing all the KR pictures with bigger ones as a sub-mod kujiro? If this is the case, than people will be very happy about it. It would look great.
