Hi all. Wondering if anyone has any ideas how to solve this problem?

I'm trying to create an interchange using the Network Extensions Mod and Traffic President. You can see the video of the problems I'm having below.

Basically I'm trying to do a 3->4->2+2->4->3 interchange. Turn the 3 lane into a 4 lane, split those 4 lanes into a pair of 2 lanes, then merge back.

The problem is that vanilla doesn't merge right, but if I use the Traffic President lane connector mod tool that also doesn't merge correctly. I've checked downstream and it's nothing to do with what's coming up. It just seems like the lane merging AI really doesn't want to do what I want it to.

Anyone got any ideas how to solve this?
