In the pops DD, you can see an aristocrat pop who derives his income from subsistence farms.

What I am wondering is if self owning farmers can be a thing outside of subsistence farms without going all anarchist commune. I wonder if middle or even low icome pops can ad to investment pools.

If farmers are owning land and making a profit or surplus off the land, then they by definition are no longer subsistence farmers. So they would become landowners. Very poor landowners, but landowners nonetheless. Then they would contribute to the investment pool through however much landowners contribute.

Aristocrats also "work" in subsistence farms. So i guess something like Junkers will just be represented as Aristocrats.

Strange, the subsistence farmers seem to be pretty amateurish in what they do, inefficient as they are. Rich landowners though, once they take control, immediately increase the yield no problemo. Market magic at work I suppose. Pdox, Pdox, what are you doing.
