Landlocked country with no open fronts – any way out of this?

I have a pretty successful run as Spain but from time to time my colonies get revolutions. It's maybe even more often than what I'd expect but that's not the point. Amazonia, one of my puppets, got a revolution that is basically all of their country. I am in a different war at the moment, so I couldn't send my armies right away and Amazonia got occupied by the insurgent forces. The thing is, Amazonia is a landlocked country and the other countries, even though under my control, aren't technically a party to this particular conflict.

So here is the current situation with Amazonia occupied and the other countries around as my puppets but not directly involved in this conflict. IRL, I would probably order my generals to land in Colombia and make their way to the Amazonian border, where they would start to clean things up. The game doesn't allow me to do any such thing. There are no fronts open at the moment and a direct landing is impossible since Amazonia is landlocked.

Could anyone help me with this situation or am I forced to lose the war due to the front system being too rigid?

Are you allowed to Violate Sovereignty (Diplomatic Lens) your puppets? For third-party countries it lets you force them into the war, but I don't know how it works with puppets.

It looks like I am able to violate the sovereignty of Colombia, but only because I happen to own the land around the Panama canal. It doesn't allow this for any of the other countries as I am not bordering them.

Note that Colombia wouldn't accept this proposal even if my infamy was 0. I find this unfortunate given they are my subject and all, but oh well. Not sure how the whole subject-overlord dynamic is going to work if they join a war against me though.

Another thing that makes no sense and would be easily fixed if you had military access in your subjects.

Subjects that don't have diplomacy (puppets) should also join ALL diplomatic plays that their overlord does. Not glitch out of the war because you initially targeted an ally of their overlord, a war in which you can still force their release or transfer.

I was able to violate the sovereignty of my puppet Colombia, which did not break their subject relationship with me. As a result of this violation (which Colombia refused, siding with the rebels) France and Austria-Hungary decided to join the war on their side. I find this all way too cumbersome and convoluted but I guess it is working at least to some capacity.

So I thank Troyen for pointing out the solution.
