So I had a bunch of mercenaries on a boat and I had lack of funds happen and then they declared war, a mercenary invasion naturally. Anyway since they were on the boat I guess they were forced to walk the plank because I never saw them on land anywhere. The war just went on for years. I began gaining score due to holding all my territory for x amount of time, and made white peace.
