Sometimes you get a lowborn with genius, quick, strong, attractive, or just overall very good stats with nice traits. If I see that then I'm definitely landing/marrying them

I find that even worst, higher martial means bigger army to bite the hand that feeds them, it's the same thing with Intrigue and plots. No, if I'm giving land to anyone, I'm giving it to that ugly imbecile family member, because at least if he ducks me over, it's my Dynasty. So what ends up being taken can be returned.

A modifier that lasts at least 10 years. Maybe not +100 but +80 or +70 to offset the -40 for Wants on Council. This a million times.

They already get the massive bonus your quote was referencing. As far as the need for balancing around -40 for Council, that would be adding a 10 year +40. Adding +80 or +70 is a straight buff compared to what we had pre-conclave.

Fair enough. I agree. Nonetheless a modifier at +40 would make sense. There is no way a low ranking noble is granted a county and/or a duchy and then immediately despises you for not putting them on the council.
