Alright we're back!

Look_Scand-1.jpg

Sweden declares independence from Denmark and their power drains.. The Teutons are gaining power with victories in Poland. I think Lithunania broke free. Muscovy grows...

NewLeader-2.jpg

Ferdinand I takes over. He's not too great. But the island empire grows.

Look-East-3.jpg

Balkans look funny... I don't even wanna know.

Title-4.jpg

The Pope tried to appease Ferdinand with recognizing the USA as rightful owners of the new lands. Regardless, our conquests will continue in Europe. But we will definitely look into converting the Mesoamericans.

ARA-War-5.jpg

Aragon foolishly decides to fight our Southern French allies. The plan is simple. Infantry siege the mountains while cavalry wreck havoc across Aragon.

FRanceNew-6.jpg

New developments in France. Burgundy has gained power. This war goes kinda quick...

ARWARCONCLUDE-7.jpg

Minor inconvenience... Now, where were we councilmen?

I like the idea of blocking of all possible colonization routes. That way you can take North and South America for yourself and in your own time, while you deal with some smaller nations or go hunting gold provinces :D. Leave the larger ones alone for now, or you won't have anything to do in the later game. :)

Christopher Columbus has been advertising his services. Iberia's subjugation must conclude.

1War-Begin.jpg

Strategically speaking for the vassals... Ireland and Britain own provinces in Iberia and are ready to pounce! We'll take the south with Aragon, while the Dutch and Brittany do their thing.

2FirstBattle.jpg

Ouch... Uhm. Gaspar I, where are your Dutch soldiers? Slink?! Bretons?!

3KingMe.jpg

Robert I takes over... The British and Irish have 40 something regiments playing naptime in Vizcaya... We're boned.

4Navarra.jpg

Castille and Portugal have the same idea. Let everyone die in the mountains. Let's help them to an early grave.

5TidesOfWar.jpg

The tide of battle changes as Castille changes their Hussite Cavalry Killing tactics for some reason...

6Idea.jpg

Improved Foraging... It should help the sieges. The war is just kind of clean up duty after this. Aragon helps a lot while the Irish and British go home. WTF =\!!

7Peace.jpg

Ceased Colonization. Aragon restored. Couple provinces change hands and Hussite spreads throughout the north.

8Religions.jpg

The Hussite religion is more than just a rebellion now. Bohemia's support is waning for their Brethren.

The Holy Roman Empire will soon have an Austrian or Brandenburgian take the throne. If so they could, in junction with the Pope, declare a crusade upon Hussite nations. Meaning every HRE state will declare war upon the USA and its allies.

Should our resources be spent to keep Bohmeia neutral, enhance relations with Burgundy for the unavoidable coming war, or possibly reunite France for a super ally? Or maybe a councilman has a better idea?

I guess the Dutch listened to me :D

A crusade could indeed pose a problem, but without a pope there can't be a crusade. Can there? Remove the pope or else try and ally Burgundy.

So it was decided. A deal was made.

1Burgundy.jpg

Burgundy, already a Hussite nation, would join the alliance in return for Lorrainian provinces and dominance in the French region. The Bohemian ruler has died so...

2BAV.jpg

And thus... IT HATH BEGUN!!!

3Diplomacy.jpg

World War 2 (minus USSR) anyone??

4HOLYWAR.jpg

I've never seen such numbers... Keep in mind half of our men are in Aragon, or sitting idle in the British Isles... They COULD come help but I doubt it.

Any war advice before this shebang goes down? This is the largest war I'll ever fight in EU3.
