The Battle of Mohacs (1526), which saw the capitulation of the Kingdom of Hungary to the Oottomans, saw an Ottoman army of between 50-100,000 defeat a Hungarian army of between 25-40,000. The Siege of Vienna in 1529 saw the Ottoman forces number at 120,000
The Battle of Flodden (1513) between England and Scotland saw an English army of 26,000 defeat a Scottish army of between 30-40,000.

All of these battles were before 1600, and armies only grew larger as time passed.
