Since I didn't make it into the BETA myself, I just wanted some of the lucky guys to check if the following holds still true.
In the Development Diary #7 'Division Designer' on November 26th is a major bug in the production cost calculation. I know it was still Alpha, but I just want to make sure this bug isn't there anymore.
First of all there is also a minor bug which I mention here just for completion and further understanding. In the table on the left side the icons for IC and Manpower seem to be placed the wrong way around. So the left column should be Manpower and the right hand IC. [1]
So the costs for the Infantry and Armored Car Divisions are:

Manpower: 3.33
IC: 2.33
Buildtime: 95
[3]
Manpower: 1.67
IC: 5.33
Buildtime: 270
Since it's also a serial build of 4 Divisions [4], the complete build characteristica [5] is calculated as follows:
Manpower: 3.33 + 3.33 + 1.67 + 1.67 = 10.00
IC: 2.33 + 2.33 + 5.33 + 5.33 = 15.32
Buildtime: 270 + 270 + 270 + 270 = 1080
The problem is the brigade's different buildtimes. The cost of a single division in IC-Days (IC*buildtime) is 4136.40 (15.32*270). But the sum of the brigades' IC-Days is 3320.90 (2.33*95 + 2.33*95 + 5.33*270 + 5.33*270) and therefore 20% lower than the division's. To correct this, there are two options.
Either the IC cost of the division is reduced after 95 days, which would quite hard to implement and gives additional problems with serial runs (permanently changing IC needs).
The second possibility is to tune down the IC cost of the whole division, to compensate the longer production time of some brigades. In this case it would be 12.30 (3320.90/270). You could singlehandedly argue this by reduced equipment production, i.e. only one infantry rifle is produced per day instead of three.
So could one of the BETAs (or even one of the developers) please check and report this if necessary?
