If one side has 0 morale and less than half the number of its opponent, it gets a wipe. This is true before and after the 1.34 rework.
But before 1.34, neither an army or a regiment can retreat before 12 days. That means if you crush your opponents morale within 12 days without outnumbering them by 2 times, you can continue to kill their men until you reach the stackwipe conditions.
In 1.34, a regiment retreats as soon as its morale reaches 0, while the 12 day limit still applys to the army. So in the exact same situation, all your opponent's regiments get retreated, you fight with thin air for the remaining of the 12 days, and you don't get a stackwipe.
I suggest at least remove the 12 day auto-retreat limit, only keep it in manual retreats.
