I regularly play CKII with my daughter through Multiplay/LAN. We are both on laptops that can easily handle CKII and she is usually upstairs, I have a 100mb broadband so connection is not an issue.

When we play with say the 'Old Gods' everything is fine, no crashes.

Recently I bought the Charlemagne DLC with the shields and a Eastern and Western outfit pack. My daughter wanted to see if she would like it. I was under the impression that if the person hosted who has the additional DLC then it would show up on the PC of the person who hasn't got it.

I hosted a game and she joined and we were playing for like 30 mins to an hour? then crashes. By that I mean it drops my daughter from the game. If I disable Charlemagne it plays normally.

Has this feature been stopped now or is there a bug?

Probably a bug, although not a known one. Are you now both on 2.2.1 with checksum DPOO? If so, both manually delete your documents/paradox/ck2/gfx/ folders, and let the game recreate them.
