Same problem as in EU3. The music is great, but there's so little of it that it eventually becomes repetitive after 2-3 complete Grand Campaigns

By the way, I would love to see some kind of soundtrack commentary by Andreas himself. About the inspirations and meaning for each track, etc. There are so many songs in the ST that remind me of so so many references! It is brilliant!

About the music being great but short, you know, all Paradox games allow you to add music to the core soundtrack easily.

Just drag any Mp3 to the music folder of the game and itll play randomly amongst the other songs.

For example, my G:\Europa Universalis III\music directory was enhanced by music as diverse as Canon in D Major to Cyan's theme from FFVI. They blend in quite well with existing tracks. Honestly, as long as its all instrumental stuff, after awhile, you wont even be able to tell the core Paradox tracks from your own stuff

I'll probably just put them in a player with my classical music collection and run in the background during game.

I really like it too (it also reminded me of LOTR, although that isn't bad ) I wouldn't have minded if they had thrown in some Beethoven, Bach or even Mozart, but i'm damn glad they diddin't throw in any Wagner, always thought that to be a bit over the top.

I think the soundtrack is great, I think it will hold up nicely. I'm already using it as study music for university summer classes :rofl: Hopefully I won't play it out... PI games normally have very easily accessible music files, so for those of you who are unsatisfied, grab some extra tunes and scatter them into the game's playlist. Another 30-45 mins of music would make a repeat hard in a single gaming session.

Personally, I like the soundtrack. Sure it isn't the most groundbreaking or heartstopping score, but it is an enjoyable and immersive one which will no doubt greatly enrich the game as a whole.

A day at the court is best one for me. I also like We have Independence since it's almost an inverted version of one of my all time favourites, the british grenadiers' march.

I would have enjoyed a bit more variety in the sound - but overall its pretty good - lament for the queen gets a special mention as well.
