Why can't we create rivers, streams, lakes, etc.. once we reached 100% terraforming? There is water all over the planet at that point except in our colony, that makes no sense. Why can't we landscape our area to bring constant water in and then have new tech to research for pumping water to our cities and a waste recycling tech? Also, why doesn't the game eliminate the dome requirements once we reach breathable atmosphere so we can create better cities and towns? The game needs to expand into more options of creating better cities and have more research like finding dormant alien dna, for example, and our scientists find a way to bring back alien life that once lived on Mars creating new challenges. Also, what about finally coming into contact with other life from the universe and building Mars to become a major galactic hub for trading, business, etc... We need more buildings, businesses, animals and so forth to build up our cities after we have terraformed the planet. This game falls apart once we reach the terraforming stage. It has the potential to be so much more enjoyable and challenging and it feels like it stopped short of that.

It could add a new level of difficulty to some map grids. Imagine building in the low valleys only late game to find they are flooding with water as the planet greens and we've dropped so many comets and ice asteroids on the surface. Great idea!
And having open/wild bodies of water might allow stocking with fish & mollusks. SO we could add fish to the menus, and serve it in sushi and oyster bars.
terraforming and landscaping and building menus could add the making of islands and bridges & tunnels through ridges which later will connect water as the planet floods.
