Feel free to suggest more fitting names for Danish rulers and nobility in the suggestions forum Same goes for all tags in the game.

What about dynamic names? I have the sources to be able to whip up quite a bit of those for Danish and German. If I did that would that then be something which was really likely to be added?
Also how would you like then? With sources for each name? (Would be somewhat tedious.)
Should authentic spelling be prioritised?

eNot sure what you mean by dynamic names, if you meant dynastic then sure. The game keeps two lists for "last names", one per tag which is used for generals, advisors, agents, etc. and one per culture which is just for rulers (you may end up with a ruler from the first list though depending on how they come to power).
You don't need to source every one though comments in general help.
Authentic spelling: I don't see why not. Can't have lots of variants of the same name though.

Unless you use the nation designer first names are only by tag.

If I understand correctly, it is the same as dynamic province names, like Granada - Garnatah (or something like that).

I meant dynamic province names. Also are you phasing those out again, since I just looked and noticed that the file with Danish names is gone.
Anyway I would be able to provice authentic, Danish names for a large amount of provinces. My sources are mainly from the latter part of the time frame, but I doubt that matters too much.

With regard to monarch names I should be able to provide some too.

Then I will write down a list when I get the time.
Is there any limit on them? I.e. they can't be too different from the English name, they can't be too far away, something else?
Also in case I didn't say it clear enough: Besides Danish I can also provide names in German, Dutch, French, and possibly other languages.

No time limit but I can also not make any prediction on exactly when they might be added. Suggestions can be for any tag and by any poster in case that wasn't clear

Nyasa is Malawi Lake in Bantu languages and name for people living there, just like Nyanza for Victoria Lake. Interesting part is Nyanza simply means Lake.

Yeah, that is interesting. Where I live, the word Michigan comes from a local word meaning Great Water (or as we now call it, a Great Lake). I would imagine the local languages would just call it Lake (or "the Lake").

The originally suggestion (which is worthwhile I think) was for lakes to be "controllable" similar to wastelands, and for the controller to affect dynamic names for lakes (and probably nothing else), so that lakes could start with native names and gain modern English names if they were controlled by the English, for example.

Fully support doing so, although it's worth pointing out that the European name for Lake Superior was devised during the games time period, where as Lake Victoria wasn't even discovered until after the games time period

When adding foreign province names, should I only look at countries that actually owned that area, or any foreign country that had a different name for a place?
