By the way about the map view stutter, it seems to go away for a couple of years when you increase your stability to +3.

Just start a game with ottomans, see your screen stutter, open console " key does that for me, type stability and it is gone. So it might possibly be a rebel chance problem ?

I bloody hope you can get fixes for that monthly lag at the beginning of each month right before collecting taxes....

Edit: Lots of people including me is facing lots of multiplayer random crashes as well :/

I had this problem a few months after starting to play with France. When England requested peace, the lag disappeared.

I thought one of the advantages of Steam was developers can throw hotfix patches and it automatically grabs the update. I know they probably want to do one big patch but that could take weeks. This issue has been fixed, so send it to us please!

Please do not spread any false information even if it is meant to be sarcastic, on forums that can very easily be misunderstood as you only read text, there's not been said that patches will start to arrive in November/December only.

That's pretty much what I'm doing right now too. And jealously watching LP's of other people playing the game. Dammit. I took a week off from work for this. Feels like I really bloody shouldn't have.

Same here. I'm very dissapointed so far due to this framerate lag. I wish they'd just give us the files to fix the stutter, it doesn't even have to be part of a full patch.

I will probably look back at this week off in the future and laugh about being on vacation in laggy and rebellious France, just like I look back at that week off from work in 2010 when I was supposed to play Civilization V and ended up staring at deer standing in the Atlantic ocean and rivers hovering above ground. It will be something to tell the grandchildren.

I have also noticed this problem. My specs are above the recommended & I also get a slight pause every few seconds. It doesnt make the game unplayable, but its pretty annoying. It seems to get worse the longer I play without exiting the game. I wonder if its a memory leak of some sort.
