could be because more people with bad computer, bad internet joined since release.

anyway, the answer to this issue is to leave the game when it lags and try your luck on another, that's a waste of time for everyone but playing with micro lagg every seconds is too boring.

The game should not punish all the players if one is playing with hand crank internet or a potato. Game should just kick the problem player and inform the said player on why he sucks and was kicked.

I also think the game plays out far laggier than Wargame Alb or RD.


Eugene should take a look at it and if it shows that people with too high settings, too slow connections or whatever are the cause, then the game should give some more feedback about that. E.g. "XXXX's network cannot keep up" or "XXXX should lower their settings". At least then people would know the reasons.

so i'm very surprised & thanksfull to even have an answer on forum.

The purpose of it, is to make them look better, so sales wont drop due to outrage of negative reviews. "We apologise, and working on it" will hold a lot of people from posting negative reviews cause its natural behavior. Thats PR mate. It may or may not be connected with truth. ANd sure as hell wont improve our game experience. Waiting for real fixes. We already gave our thanks with our wallets.Being grateful for such message is like being grateful to politician for election promises.

Those messages lack info about what steps they will be making, what they are doing. Its to generic PR message to be thankfull for. Only conclusion that comes to my mind is that they are NOT working on it right now, and only PR department working on it, till devs stop celebrating troughout the weekend, leaving customers with borked multiplayer and spoiled weekend plans with the game they paid for and were hyped on.

I got hooked with the hype. Made plans to nerd it out troughout the weekend. And im left with an excuse of entertainment. What are YOU thankful for? Its freaking Stokholm syndrome. :)

They identified the performance issues in 10v10... Great. Its not to difficult. There is to many players and to many units in phase C...

You're right. Seems I've grown too accostumed of dealing with The Creative Assembly where the Dev Rule is Total Silence.

Wait and see. I'm still very unhappy with this rushed release.

of course they need to show they are supporting the game in order to sell it but there are much worst than EUGEN when it comes ot communicating, you should take a look at the other.

This connection problem seems to be pretty bad all around. We need a fix soon or the game will die a quick death. Alot of peeps have already stopped playing MP, some may not come back they are soo miffed.

I believe a good share of the lag may also simply be people with their settings set too high - often this is the case when the game starts out running smoothly and then begins dragging through the mid-game. There needs to be a mechanism to force people to play on settings necessary for smooth multiplayer gameplay.

I've got a good computer and connection, and still get some massive rubberbanding issues sometimes. The game freezes a lot, and seems to be in slow motion.
I think it happens roughly 1/3 of the games, and I play only 2vs2. Never had this problem during the beta.

Yeah, it definitely isn't us Gustave. I had very rare issues during Beta (and none in the last two weeks of it) but I get dumped a LOT in the 10v10s now. I even dropped my graphics settings down from a custom high > insane level of detail to a plain old medium... and it doesn't change a thing. Lets hope KeranLors and the Eugen team can get the problem resolved. I have a few friends who were planning on seeing how the game went a long to buy it.

Sure is a bummer with the holiday weekend (here in the US at least) that the game is in this state though :(
