this problem started 2 days ago. when i run the game through steam, it takes 5 minutes load and then game runs laggy. buttons dont work properly, movements are slow etc.. does anybody have a similiar problem. strange, i did not have that issue earlier

Steam, Library, right click game, go to Local Files, click Verify Integrity of Game Cache. See if that does anything for you as it sounds like something may be damaged/corrupt.
