Hoi Vanilla, latest patch 36 scenario. Im usa, invading Italy. dropped my armies off in gilbralter, picked em up and started my invasion of the boot. Once i have a foot hold on the boot i set up a supply convoy with supplies and oil. it is in full supply with plenty of convoys..even more than i need. and i did check the supply box. when i attack, one of my negative modifiers is lack of supply -20. i cant for the life of me figure out why im getting this. when at rest they are in supply. i have 17k in supplies saved and im never in the red for supplies. the only thing i can think of it that they are showing as supplied from gibralter. but this should only effect the supply distance. ...moving forward. i annex italy and now it shows supplied from the provence im in..Venito. i attack from venito to yugoslavia...and what do i have...a negative modifier -20 lack of supplies. i did set up my convoys again...everthing same/same. i cant figure out why...if anyone knows please let me know.
thanks

I've seen this a lot too, even in provinces with direct land connections to my capital.

Maybe it just represents the difficulty of supplying front-line units. Remember, when you're attacking, you are in someone else's province. Maybe the game can't factor in supplying a province that you don't control.

What kind of forces are you using? If a mixed stack, do the vanilla infantry also show -20 for lack of supplies? IOW, are you seeing this problem only with oil-burning units?

Also, a tip - park your units at Malta instead of Gibraltar prior to invasion. It's closer to your invasion beaches.

Cancel any existing convoys. Make sure you know which province in Italy resources are starting to stockpile. Send a massive convoy directly from the USA to that province. By massive I mean hundreds of transports in the convoy. Oversupply is always bettern than potential undersupply.

Sometimes you also need to save and reload the game to wake up the game engine.
