I am not a computer person. I can follow directions really well, and excel at downloading patches and unzip files but at that point my computer tech knowledge begins to fall short.

Can some one post a "how to take screen shots from an HOI save game file for dummies?"

Searched the database and couldnt find anything.

Thanks,

Odin

Not from a save game file

The screen shots come from in-game captures. There is a key you can press during play that dumps a screen shot into a file. F12? I don't know what key, or the other details, but I'm sure the other guys can fill you in.

Just what we need, more English propaganda.

Okay

Diefledermas gave me those same instructions over ICQ. Pretty straight forward but I couldnt find any bmp files, I searched the HOI directory no dice.

Is the file extension (.txt..bmp, etc) contingent on what I have for a paintshop/pic editor program?

Maybe its savings as Jpegs?

lets assume you have taken a few and they are lost on your puter. Go to search then to files and folders and do a search *.BMP this will list all pics that are in Bitemap format. Do this again for *.Gif, and *.JPEG. only do the last two if you cannot find the files with the *.BMP.
