Lack of funds and retinues

I just noticed that my retinues are not reinforcing at all. I watch for at least three months and nothing.... I am in lack of funds, but i still earn enough to pay for the reinforcement and still pay my debt. Is it possible that retinues don't reinforce while in lack of funds? Any other ideas why they don't ?

They don;t, and I actually think it might be bugged. It seems to take the money out to pay to reinforce them, and then they still don't reinforce. So it will drain your cash and still not work. When I'm in lack of funds, I turn reinforcing off.
