Very frustrating. Labourd, Canarias, Jeju, and other provinces still have wrong area and region.
And as has been said multiple times already many of these will be revisited in the future (especially islands).

So you only need to discover St. Helena to be able to trigger colonialism?... Totally didn't know this in my Kongo run...The best case of this is arguably St.Helena being considered part of the New World.
Thanks for clarifying. And as has been said multiple times already many of these will be revisited in the future (especially islands).![]()
Sorry, I couldn't see your quote as I ignored the one who wrote that post.If you read the post I was quoting, I was talking about St. Helena, which I know for a fact has been part of the New World since at least 1.17, when I needed to take it in my First Come, First Serve achievement run. I never mentioned Labourd.
What's wrong with the Canarias being part of macaronesia?Very frustrating. Labourd, Canarias, Jeju, and other provinces still have wrong area and region. Even though there is no reason for this mess as area based ZoC was canceled, you didn't fix them. I've always advocated Paradox at this forum and other forums of my country, but I can't now. This is absolutely frustrating.
The Canaries are part of Italy. What's wrong with the Canarias being part of macaronesia?
No they are not... they are part of the Macaronesia area together with Açores and Madeira, which is part of the Iberia region...The Canaries are part of Italy.
Sorry, I was thinking about the Balearic islands. No they are not... they are part of the Macaronesia area together with Açores and Madeira, which is part of the Iberia region...
The Balearic islands are part of Italy? Why did they change it?Sorry, I was thinking about the Balearic islands.
1.19. Because of the (reverted) fort changes they wanted to make sure an island is never in the same area as any non-island province...The Balearic islands are part of Italy? Why did they change it?

The fort rework required islands not to belong to inland areas. As you know an area can only belong to one region so therefore 1.19 Baleares are in the italy area together with a bunch of other islands.
