In the Caucasus, a series of ethnic and boundary disputes have led to war between the Turkmen Alash Orda and the Cossack Don-Kuban Union. The USSR has announced it will not intervene for now, but our intelligence services in all three countries do point out that the USSR is strengthening it's border garrisons with these nations.
