French Imperial Napoleonic Party presents:
370pxingresnapoleononhi.jpg

Why vote Imperial??

Tired of Syndicalism and Bolshevism threatening France? Tired of France being a sad joke foreigners ignore? Tired of France having no say in world politics??
All this can change!
French Imperial Napoleonic Party support the buildup of a strong France with confidence and power to challenge Germany for dominance of continental Europe. FINP support a France that will be independent of both Mittelseuropa and the Internationale and become an important player in World Affairs.
FINP support a responsible foreign policy aimed at forming a Union with the patriots in Algiers, backing the Pope and the legitimate Italian government against Syndicalist Vandals and backing the Spanish crown against the Anarchists. Thus France can become a strong player and the vanguard against Syndicalism and Socialism in Southern Europe.

But are you more afraid of the Syndicalist threat here at home, than distant foreign dangers?? Don't worry, FINP will fight daily against the Red Menace and will do everything in our power to diminish influences from Moscow and London to hurt our nation. FINP will take a strong stance for the preservation of French values and French Culture and will strongly defend Christianity and Patriotism. FINP support the strenghtening of the armed forces and the police to be able to handle the threat from the Syndicalist brutes. No"red rape" will ever happen in France under FINP's supervision!

Vote French Imperial Napoleonic Party in the upcoming election!!

A message from the Société pour la Reconstruction de la France

Countrymen,

our great nation is currently going through its darkest days. Our economy is in ruins, our national pride dented, our nation torn apart by internal political strife. Especially the fact that even in these days most parties are spending more time on ideological nitpicking than working together to rebuild La France is worrying many all across the country.

I say to you: No More!!! We will all need to work together if we wish for France to survive! At the moment there is no Left or Right, only Frenchmen!

For this reason I, FlyingDutchie, have founded the Société pour la Reconstruction de la France, the Society for the Reconstruction of France. We are not a political party. Instead we are a thinktank hoping to bring the best and brightest France has to offer together in an effort to let a unified France return to her rightful place in the world.

Our guiding principles are:
- In times of crisis all need to work together to weather the tides. We will cooperate with all willing to work for the good of France. This means we are politically neutral.
- We are NOT a political party and will not enter any elections. However, politicians willing to look past their partypolitics are free to join us. Membership of a democratic political party is not a problem in joining us.
- We will take independent action if we feel the government or the Assemblée are failing to adress critical issues.
- All members of the Société are to act in a gentlemanly fashion when attending the Société. No mudslinging, no campaigning, simply finding solutions will do. Hold polite discours within the confines of the Société. There is plenty of time for political bickering in the Assemblée.

Anyone willing to assist us in our good works are invited to join our great Société regardless of his political affinity here.

Vive la France!

Very cool! Is it too late to form new parties?

I don't think it is. But I don't really think a new party would gain much popularity unless it is very radical - the big parties have already formed. Therefore I suggest you to join the followers of Napoleon - FINP awaits you!

Elections are starting 11th of June, midway between Elections in the Netherlands and Belgium...nice :D

Oh and vote for the FINP! We want a restoration of French glory, and a world without communism! For the Emperor ike, for France!

Tim

Corrected!

Can i join in ze FINP?

I vote Ouais.

The French people are an industrious and valiant people; even though they have endured much in the preceding years: economic and human devastation, the humiliation of defeat, for many the loss of their own land and forced repatriation, I believe they still hold dear to their hearts the ideals of the revolution: Liberté, égalité, fraternité. They know what the Bonapartists hold out to them is not an olive branch but rather a poisoned apple. The Bonapartists stand for a retention and expansion of privilege, their privileges, at the expense of the ordinary man, a direction contradiction of the French revolutionary principles.

They want to set the clock back, but what will that accomplish? Every time a Bonaparte has sat on a French throne catastrophe has been the end result. Every time we have ended up humiliated and subjugated. If we are to follow by Napoleon I's example, the FINP would have us reinstate slavery and slaughter our own wounded soldiers.

The Rationalist League has no fear or uncertainty of the future. By embracing the potential of technological and social advances we will improve the welfare of every man, woman and child in France. The current programmes improving our industry and infrastructure will be continued and expanded by the Rationalist League in government. The Rationalist League will also place a greater focus upon mechanization and automation of our industry, making every citizens labour more efficient. While the conservative parties would prefer if the middle and lower classes slaved away in menial labour to line the pockets of the capitalists and managers, we believe that the French people deserve to be treated as more than just machinery. We will also abolish capital punishment because of its abhorrent ethical issues and the fact it is primarily used against the poor and underprivileged.

I am sure there is great talent amongst the French public which has not surfaced due solely to many being born into circumstances and social classes which act as a lead ball weighing them down intellectually and committing them to a life of drudgery. The Rationalist League aims to remove those barriers and provide equal opportunities to all.

Finally, the Rationalist League of France stands for a French nation which is both proud and prudent. We will not bow in the face of foreign pressure and we will stand up for what the French people believe is right. The man in Berlin, nor the man in London or Moscow, should be deciding our policies for us. Despite this I believe that the intelligent French public realities that any moves we make must be done carefully and the consequences considered. Although we have already lost we could suffer much more if we do not play our hand correctly. The French people and the Rationalist League will be able to make those decisions without the pitfalls of fundamentalism.

Dieu le Roi

The horrors of the Weltkrieg and the political ascendency of the Pope in Rome triggered a surge of Catholic sentiment across Europe. The masses, sickened by the wickedness of Earthly rulers, turned to tradition and faith for protection. The Carlists of Spain and the Zentrum Party of Germany have arisen to fight the good fight and defend the faith. The people of France have answered with Dieu le Roi (God is King).

Dieu le Roi’s beginnings are shrouded in mist. It reached national attention in the late 1920s when apparently spontaneous gatherings of peasants at pilgrimage sites across France declared that the will of God would sweep away the corrupt kings of Europe. These mass gatherings continued to grow and clarified their goals in the Edict of Tours, which has since served as the guiding document of this populist movement. Dieu le Roi clearly existed previous to the edict in certain clerical circles. The organization claims to be descended from a secret organization established in the Vendee during the revolution.

In the years since, Dieu le Roi has built a strong following amongst the industrial and agricultural working class of France. Sites of pilgrimage and faith healing have become host to torch-lit political rallies where demagogic priests whip the faithful into a rapturous frenzy. These rallies have in turn evolved into bonfires of indexed books and midnight marches to show the strength of the faithful. The upper echelons of the party are populated by activist clergy. Strong connections to Masonic and Rosicrucian circles are in evidence, but denied.

The full extent of Dieu le Roi’s connections to other radical catholic groups is unknown, but is certainly great. Senior party members have entertained Xavier de Bourbon and Cardinal Innitzer on several occasions. The group has obvious connections to Christus Rex in Flandern-Wallonia. Its relations with the centrist Zentrum party of Germany are noticeably cooler, however. Dieu le Roi feeds on feelings of pan-catholic unity, and aspirations of a catholic alliance or even union have been constant feature of party speeches.

Dieu le Roi thrives because it offers what other parties do not: virtue unclouded by atheistic ideology. It stands in sharp contrast to godless communism and decadent liberalism. It will feed and house the poor, for it is time for the meek to inherit the Earth! It will raise a mighty army, for the wicked may never feel safe from God’s wrath. It will extirpate the toxic heresies and errors that cloud the public discourse, for that which is not truth should not be uttered.

As to the army, no longer will the God-fearing world tremble before the spread of communism! No longer will the sodomite, protestant yoke of Mitteleuropa strangle the lifeblood of Europe. Dieu le Roi will transform the French people into a crusading army of the Lord. A massive standing army, maintained through conscription, will be more than a match for any opponent.

As to foreign policy, Dieu le Roi insists on building an alliance with catholic nations around the globe. It seeks to challenge the hegemony of Miteleuropa and roll back the canker of communism. The rights of Christians in the darker corners of the Earth must be defended, opening up new areas of French interest. The Holy Land, in particular, quakes beneath the boot of Turk and Saracen. It is high time to launch a new crusade to sweep the Mohammedans from the country of Christ. Such a venture would be a great show of strength, and bring the Word back the place it originated.

As to the economy, Dieu le Roi looks not to Marx or Smith, but to the Good Book. The end of economic activity is not some godless utopia or the enrichment of usurers, but the welfare of the poor and the sustenance of the army. The unemployed masses shall be drafted to reap the fruits of the Earth. Fallow land shall be plowed and new mines shall be sunk. This work will occupy many idle hands and supply the resources to power our growing industry. More crops will feed the hungry and pave the way for a demographic boom.

As to society, Dieu le Roi will provide drastic action to correct the moral errors that have befallen the French people. Strict censorship must be instated and education should be left to the Church. A powerful internal security apparatus must direct itself to rooting out dangerous ideologies. Young men must be instilled with a willingness to fight and die for their faith and nation. Young women must be encouraged to be fruitful and multiply. Draconian penalties must be enforced on the sale and use of birth control. Military honors should be bestowed on women who give birth to many sons. With these policies, the French race will be myriad. Dieu le Roi will bring back traditional values to French society.

With the coming 1936 elections, Dieu le Roi has mobilized to bring national populism to France. A Dieu le Roi victory will make France the central power in the coming catholic revolution and propel it to greatness…even glory. Join and vote Dieu le Roi!

(Sorry tuore, the electorate needs more options!)

Religious zealot party? Awesome! :D

You've been added in the forums and party list, but could you find some sort of Party Logo? Preferrably along the same size of the logos presented here

Also, Parliamentary Democracy bill wins unanimously. We'll put up a note in the Presidential Archives. Two days left till elections
