Why did the workers lose the election. They were not organized. Once organized, the mass of workers form the most stable part of any election group. They sway the election to whoever they see as their savoir, or in thise election, their Ceaser. First off, the left lack a united front. The jacobins were in talks with the FINP, the PPSP was splitting apart into multiply parties and the rationalists, not tainted by anything know do not have the spice of being the "exotic party". The right was able to harness the votes of those who want revenge, as soon as possible despite being political impossible. But who ever said that politicans need to keep promises? The FINP also allied with the Church who have always hated this Workers Republic. A monarchy would surely cause the de-secularization of the state.
But Comrades we have lost, atleast until 1939. But do not despair, the Right only has two years to oppress the workers, and the Socialist parties, with the vanguard of the 14th of July Movement will prevail. Comrades, since we are the betterman we shall not attack or destablize this government post-election. Comrades, show the deceny that Left Government never got. For the people, may this republic live long. Now on a side note, the attacks issued by the Rights mere minutes and hours post election.

I'm honored that you are willing to reprint some of my best work. They say that there is no such thing as bad publicity. Chew on this: you offered the people a workers' paradise, but didn't deliver. This is a fallen, imperfectible world. The workers know that the only paradise lies in the next life, and the way to get there is through diligence, faith and loyalty in this one. When given a choice, the workers chose Truth.
I am not God, I can not create a Workers Paradise in a single year while facing a opposition that demands war. Besides God got to rest on the 7th day (or 6th i forgot), the President of France had no such luxury.
