I wouldn't exactly say "peacefully". If you would look into the forums and our liberation act, it looks more like we're on the edge of a civil war. I don't even want to see how it looks like when I get up on the morning tomorrow.
I think there are tensions, inevitably, but the only person to have said violence occured was (I think, if wrong I apologise but I still have one eye on the F1) Emperor Ike.

But ultimately TRP is the arbiter of how such tensions translate into actions, ie they would be the ones to decide if violence occurs. This seems reasonable, otherwise things would descend into chaos instantly!

Yes, it does. Look it up on google fight or wikipedia.

Well yeah, the right is pissed because they lost the elections, that doesn't mean instant civil war. besides, as we said before we're going to veto any government destabilisations early-game. If we allow this you could topple the government before they do anything, then the commies would topple you again, then you then again, it'd be a spiral of chaos. So yeah, no more discussion, we're declaring Iceman's coalition as winners. For all the rightwing guys: A good idea would be to organize and try to bend parliament bills your way through voting, and hope for a better outcome next elections.

Setting up cabinet

EDIT: Oh also, losing the elections isn't the end of the world guys. I mean, the 1938 elections are in two weeks :p

Just two weeks? Will the government have time to do anything but prepare for the next election? Especially since not everyone is available online every day...

I agree. I think that a bit longer time, like 4 weeks or a month, would be the perfect length.

A month?! You wouldn't survive that month. No one would. I guarantee you that everyone would get bored quickly if the terms took so long. 2 weeks is great. During this week we say what we want to and fight with the opposition, in the weekend TRP plays the one year of gameplay and posts an update. During the next week we say what we want to do, and fight with the opposition. TRP posts update in the week. Elections start Friday, end Sunday and we get an update on Sunday.

I support the PPSP coalition with PaJ and RLF. They are sacrifices needed to change France, to stand against the bonapartist threat. However, I'd also like to say that I'm disgusted about the coalition with the FFP. A coalition with fascists, with people that are eager for power. They sided with our noble cause, not because they want to help the people, but because they want to make use of the people's weaknesses.

(OOC: At this point in time, the Fascists are just seen as being another form of Socialism, none of the modern pre-conceptions exist. Also, the PPSP being followers of a communist ideal does not mean they are the Soviet Union, after al Soviet Union =/= Communism, in fact it is one possible facet of it and even then, many people argue that the Soviets were not in fact communist at all.)

If it is only 2 weeks and the FINP wins the next elections, I... I can't be the president. I'm at my cottage for the entire July. That would be 2 elections in the meanwhile.

4 weeks is long though. What if people started to loose interest?

Fighting on the interwebs for a month isn't my idea of fun. ;) I could agree to 3 months, but not longer.
