KS pilots worth it?

Ok I did a search and didnt see this question. Is there any bonus to having a KS pilot?

Short answer is no. As stated by McGrey, custom art and a more in depth character background. I find Ronin far more appealing...... but that's only because I couldn't afford that level of backer status to get myself into the game lol.

The (usually) awfully cheesy callsigns and extremely unfortunate backstories are typically enough for me to avoid them so far, mechanical considerations aside.

I like the Ks and Robin just cuz they tend to look/sound cooler and have wackier tags and backstories.

Not really.

I actually prefer the random people that pop because they are different every time. You get used to the same KS faces that pop up and it gets rapidly old.
