I am playing as the Italian Federation and immediately off the start I turn into a republic and in elections I chose the Liberal Party which has been ruling ever since. Spain split into 3 states and of Course I sent away the radicals to fight for the Carlists while I also supported the Kingdom. Not long after the start I did both sides a favor and invaded the Syndicalist side and fully annexed it. Now My system of government is more like a parliamentary democracy where the Head of State has little power and the HoG has all the power. I had the option to either give the land back to KoS, Continue military occupation, give it to the Carlists, or set it as an "Independent" Republic. the Prime Mister and his advisers debated and finally selected to install a Provisional Government based on the Italian parliamentary system with the Republican Union (liberal party) at its head. Afterwords I invaded the Carlists and then KoS uniting Spain under the banner of Republicanism. If anyone else invaded Spain tell me what you all did?
