While I agree Kosovo is not Serbia, that really only is modern rather than back then. It's fine how it is, imo.

To be honest, this is the most level headed discussion on the topic I have read, ever. It kinda helped that darklordmuck continues to post factual evidence that prove his original assertions were wrong.
It would be ludicrous to claim that Kosovo (incidentally, name comes from Serbian word - Kos -for blackbird - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_blackbird) Kosova is a Albanian transliteration of the word) was 100% Serbian, ever, but also, everything we know shows that Serbs were majority for the great majority of the post-roman period, and certainly around the time the game starts.

Yes I know this is a tense one. No I'm not trying to start an ethnic conflict on the forums. Objectively there is little to no evidence to label Kosovo as Serbian, in addition this leaves Albania a OPM culture while combing Bosniaks and Serbians. If Bosnia is to be Serbian why can't Kosovo be Albanian?

Nah. If there were a minorities system, there would be ground to have a very large Albanian minority, apparently, but the majority was still Serbian.

Yes this thread does actually seem remarkably civil. If anything i probably stirred the pot more than necessary by questioning if darklord was trolling.

A Serbian migration event chain could be pretty cool. Austria/Hungary get an event if Ottomans conquer Serbia, to accept refugees and have them guard the border, in exchange for a defensiveness modifier, boosted development, province culture change, and maybe good events when the Ottomans declare war.

Shieet Albanians were always kind of present there but not in enough numbers to be relevant. Plus, y'know how it is in these parts, as long as you are the same religion it's pretty chill
I have no idea what culture Kosovo should have at the start of EUIV, but what we really need a completely new mechanic for determine accepted cultures.
