Korea still counts as occupied even though it is independent

Did a game as China, managed to kick the Japanese out of Manchuria and occupied pretty much all of Korea. When I got the event about the peace treaty, I accepted it, Korea became independent but for some reason it still counts as territory occupied by me and it still requires garrisons and generates both resistance and compliance.

(Don't mind the date, I've had it like that for the whole time since the peace treaty with Japan, but I've only just now gotten around to reporting the bug.)

This game was played on 1.9.2

Clicking on either of the Korean states does not show me or anyone else but Korea as the occupier.

Came here to post the exact same thread! For what it's worth, I am playing Husky v1.9.2 (a73d), with all the DLC expansions and no mods. To replicate the glitch, all you need to do is drive Japan off of mainland Asia as China. Here are my screenshots, which demonstrate the same problems ThatGuyFromSeinfeld is facing.

Update: This same problem happens when the Iceland independence event occurs. I had fully occupied Iceland, and then the event fired, and I essentially lost control of Iceland while still having to worry about garrisons.
