Greetings fellow adventurers!
We have just released a free update for KoPP 2 called Back to the Source and that means we've made some changes! Below you will find the change log highlighting them.

  • Mechanic: The random factor in Turn Order calculation was almost halved. This means that the Initiative stat now has a significantly improved bearing on Turn Order.

  • Mechanic: The formula for Health was slightly altered to result in slightly smaller Health Pools (20% on average) for both players and enemies.

  • Mechanic: Being based on an identical (mirrored) formula, Energy received the same treatment as Health.

  • Skill: Thief’s Backstab damage was buffed by +1 per skill point. Since the skill is situational and the bonus is not multiplied in criticals or attack bonuses, the additional damage didn’t feel worth the skill points.

  • Skill: Cleric’s Purge was reduced by 1 less healing per skill point. Now the total healing (multiplied by 5 party members) is less than the spot healing provided by Restoration, and Purge still removes conditions very efficiently. Purge may no longer be enough to sustain the whole party. The energy cost was also reduced by 3 (back to its original state) due to the reduction as well as the universal Energy pool reduction (see above).

  • Item: Phoenix Up was buffed to restore 50% Health instead of 25%. This is related to the universal Health pool reduction (see above).

  • Item: Enchantment Scroll prices were changed from 70, 140, 210, 280 and 350 to 50, 125, 225, 350 and 500.

  • Item: Magic Mushroom’s price was increased from 50 to 75. This also increased Miracle Concoction’s selling price due to being an ingredient for it.
