** Known Issue - Database error when registering games **

We've seen various reports of users receiving a database error when trying to register their game. The issue is known and the server administration is working on the issue. We hope to have it back up as soon as possible. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

It's strange how I managed to register the HOI3 expansions, but not HOI3 itself. Glad I found this thread though, now I know I'm not the only one with this problem

Yeah, I jsut bought games from the steam, I could register all the DLCs but not Hearts of Iron 3 itself.

I have the same issue as well. Crusader Kings 2 is unwilling to start up if I don't register it, and I can't register it.

This is SO frustrating - can't register games right after a Steam sale and no employee says a word on any sort of work on the database. Such a restrictive system, all to get to the mod forums or register a game we've purchased.

It would be nice to know if Paradox plans on fixing this in the next few days, or is everyone out of the office until 2014?

Anyway it is irritating that its steam sale,people have time off etc. In my case i finally bought the last two dlc for hoi3 and thought i would try black ice I need podcats exe apparently.... I need to register to get it and i cant.All someone needs to say is ahh screw it we are gonna fix it after christmas,have a good one! I would be happy. At least we would know and not keep pressing register and refreshing this thread.
