Suspected Bug

I am playing with the basic 1.05 mod (but not 1.05b or c), and I have discovered what I think is a bug. Playing Germany, I had an army with 6 or 7 divisions being led by a field marshall, and in the same province I also had an expeditionary force being loaned to me by an ally. The leader of that unit had a lesser rank than field marshall. I decided to strategically re-deploy the divisions under my field marshall. After re-deploying the last unit, I was horrified to find that my field marshall was now commanding the expeditionary unit! And I couldn't get him back. Apparently, the program checks for the highest ranking leader in such a situation and assigns that highest ranking leader to the remaining largest stack.
