knights of toxic god bug

For some reason it won't let me post in the bug reporting section.
Playing as an authoritarian spiritualist, with knights of the toxic god origin, and the game is randomly enslaving my squires. I checked the species menu and they are full citizens but every squire on the station is a slave. Not sure what triggered it, I just looked over all the sudden and had the unemployment symbol on my space station and 19 slaves. This is mildly game breaking as I can't use my origin stuff effectively now.

this update has clearly broken something with pops in the game, now I have pops on multiple planets randomly going though assimilation.... like why I am not an assimilator, and I have had them for years in game why assimilate now years after joining the empire?

WRT the Bug Report section, you probably have to register your game with your forum account to post there.

Are you using Slaver Guilds civic? Or do you play with mods?

As for assimilation if you went psionics or cybernetics and get unmodified pops you can choose to assimilate them.
