First time seeing this maybe because of the nations I play but playing Sweden and in a war against Novgorod and a pop up came up saying templars, hospitlars, Teutonic and Livonian Knights companies were avaliable to hire. Their maintenance shows as 50% off with the religious symbol by it so I assume that means while im fighting heretics (orthodox in this case) or heathens then I get the discount otherwise I pay full price but even full price of these companies with the bonuses they have seem OP so wondering if anyone has any experience with them.
Obviously with them only appearing when my war started theres also maybe the chance that they disappear when I end my war but not sure.
Also seems weird for them to be avaliable against heretics since catholic HRE prince smashing protestant HRE prince with templars and Hospitilars seems a weird concept so maybe I'm missing something
