Knight bulwark stuttering

When an enemy attack if bulwark is active the game freeze for a few sec.. some help?

Same for me (and others). Reported for the first time in February 2018 and I'm pretty sure it was added to the known issues shortly after that. Only thing left to ask is "is this game completely discontinued?". I understand no new features will ever be developed for it, but at least bug should be fixed. They still accept our money for expansions and gems, the basic bug fixing should be guaranteed. The knight is just unplayable in this state.
